Namaste

Single best birthday of my entire life, this whole week has been filled with texts, phone calls and visits and PRESENTS! Tomorrow will be the finale and I just can't wait! I've been saving my calories for the artichoke dip with pita points and bacon cheeseburger from McNellie's but then it's back to making good food choices, and that means a ton of salad and water based products to go with my boiled chicken. Killing it at the gym and am losing weight really fast, I think cutting out the adult beverages has helped immensely, oh and I went to the salon and somehow ended up blonde, so I am trying to roll with that development. I can't believe school starts in a month! I am trying to spend as much time with my people as I can since I will be unavailable for consultation soon. I just can't wait until tomorrow night, it is SO on.

The Notebook
I just watched The Notebook for the first time because I once posted a scene here on my blog because it resonates a truth I hold self evident. SO encore, maestro! This movie really spoke to me. A love that perseveres, everyone wants to be loved like that don't they? To love that way?
The Colony
Don't miss Wind and The Lowdogs tonight at The Colony it's be there or be square event! My friend Farmer Kyle will be playing and it should make for a nice evening, especially if it storms so we can all take a walk on Riverside. Tomorrow night it's dinner at McNellie's and then to the Mayo rooftop bar to enjoy the view and catch up with the people. Office is closed Monday and I'm off on my birthday Wednesday so it makes for a three day work week that will wrap up with my party next Friday! Work is perfect, personal life is incredible, yes it feels good to head into my forties.

What's cookin good lookin?
I cannot believe how fast time is going by, I have only six days left in my thirties! I'll be celebrating at McNellie's 71st and Yale at 7:00 on Friday the 30th out on the back patio because they don't have enough room for all of us inside. Afterwards we'll head to Dave and Busters to play some games. I start school July 7th, and it feels like it's right around the corner. My days will be 7:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, yikes!
