There is a line in a movie where our heroine says: "I don't know if you hate me, or if you're the only person that actually gets me", to which our hero replies, "Well I don't hate you". 

Etiquette and hotels..

Saturday night after church I went on a date and we met at The Mayo Hotel.  Alright first I would like to discuss parking downtown; what's with there never being a human being on the lots?  Okay yes there is a box that you stuff five dollar bills into the numbered slots that correspond with where you parked but does that only apply during the day or night as well?  I chose to wear a dress and 5 inch heels right, so of course I am freezing and I have to walk "very carefully" across two streets in these shoes that are dangerous at best whilst shivering my tuckus off, so I finally make it into this grand foyer that was quite literally breathtaking, if you are impressed by architecture and as luck would have it I am.  I could have easily just met my date in the lobby and been just as happy, but alas we were to meet on the top floor Penthouse level, may I just say WOW.  Upon exiting the elevator you take an immediate left and are led into an intimate setting/pub feel bar almost, with luxurious and opulent seating and decor' and the staff were attentive and amiable to say the least; glass doors lead out onto the rooftop patio that offers up a view that was completely unexpected.  All in all I would give the venue a 5 out of 5 possible stars on where one should take or be taken on a date in Tulsa. 

On an unrelated topic, DON"T bother wasting your time or money on Chronicle, the four of us who went last night thought it was just plain awful!

I was wrong, you were right.

What a day I had on Saturday!  I went and watched my first 3D film "Star Wars", and for some reason I have been unwilling to give 3d a chance so yesterday I decided, enough was enough and wow was I pleasantly suprised at how much I loved it!  The movie was so beautiful, it was if I was in the movie, now I want to go back and watch all my favorite movies in 3d also!  After church I ended up at The Mayo Hotel and rooftop bar, and it was so beautiful, and SO cold but all in all it was pretty perfect; then we headed to Tulsa Caz's pub, all in all a flawless 24 hours.

Exciting stuff!

Headed to a play of Beauty and the Beast tonight then off to Wal-Mart to wait in line for my Breaking Dawn!  Tomorrow I am going to watch my first 3D movie ever, Star Wars!  Headed to church tomorrow night, then going to watch Underworld or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!

Smash

Okay I admit it; I've never seen one episode of Glee, mostly because I won't start watching something in the middle of a season since I will have no idea what is happening.  Last night I watched the Smash pilot and I absolutely LOVED it!  There was a scene where my favorite character (Karen) played by Katherine McPhee, comes out in a long sleeve men's white collared dress shirt "and not much else", and I thought to myself "now that was sexy"!  Anyway the girl has chops as they say, and I hope the show gets picked up, and so far the critics are raving so that bodes well.

There are so many movies out and so many huge releases coming out that it looks to be an incredible summer blockbuster wise, and I for one cannot wait!

There are just too many to name at this point but reviews are sure to follow.  It goes without saying that I will be at the Midnight release this Friday at my local Wal-Mart on Hillside to get my Blu-Ray Special Edition dvd of Breaking Dawn part 1 but not before I go watch Beauty and the Beast at Church on The Move 180, put on by Lincoln Christian School! Friday Night

Ballroom class and coffee with the gals tonight then:

Tomorrow night a bunch of us are meeting at Church On The Move at 6 for the 7 o'clock show/concert and then we are headed to BA Cinemark for the 9:00 pm showing of Mission Impossible 4!

I am thinking a little less Frederick's of Hollywood a little more Donna Reed for my 50's glam look. Thoughts? Oh well back to the store to buy something more appropriate but these were on sale and are super sexy so I'll keep them!
